Executive Division

The Executive Division, directed by Matthew J. Friedman MD PhD, carries out strategic planning, directs the overall operation of the NCPTSD and interfaces with VA and non-VA programs and organizations. It publishes the PTSD Research Quarterly, a newsletter reviewing the most important recent literature on PTSD.
The Executive Division is also responsible for the production and maintenance of this Web site.
The PTSD Resource Center, directed by Fred Lerner DLS, produces the PILOTS database, a comprehensive electronic index to journal articles, book chapters, government reports, and other publications on PTSD and related mental health consequences of exposure to traumatic events.
