Positions: Psychology Technicians (Research Assistants)

Job Description Psychology technicians work closely with clinical psychologists on a variety of activities in the area of posttraumatic stress disorder. Responsibilities for this position include collecting data from research subjects and testing clinical patients, entering data and managing databases, performing statistical analyses, conducting library research, assisting in the preparation of grants, manuscripts, and professional presentations.
Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Psychology or a related field. Applicants should possess a keen interest in a career involving research. Other important qualifications include strong computer skills, a background in research methodology and statistics, and the maturity and interpersonal sensitivity necessary for working in a clinical setting.
Time Commitment: 2 years.
Anticipated Start Date: Several openings are expected, one in April and others in June, 2007.
