Guideline. This guideline is based on evidence-based clinical practice and
was developed by and written for clinicians. Implementation of evidence-based
clinical practice guidelines is one strategy to improve care by reducing
variation in practice and systematizing "best practices". Guidelines
serve to reduce errors, and provide consistent quality of care and utilization
