Distribution Policy

We regret that rising postage costs have made it impossible to continue offering free subscriptions to our PTSD Research Quarterly. The Research Quarterly is now available in printed form on a subscription basis, or free of charge in electronic form on our website.

If you work at a VA facility treating PTSD you will continue to receive the Research Quarterly through your service, as you have in the past. A copy of each issue is sent to the psychiatry, psychology, social work, nursing, and library services, as well as to the director and the chief of staff of each VA Medical Center. A copy is also sent to each specialized treatment unit (PCT, EBTPU, etc.) and to each Vet Center.

If you are a member of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies you will receive a copy of each issue as part of the regular mailings you receive from the Society. The ISTSS has undertaken to pay the additional postage as a service to its members.

If your organization exchanges publications with the National Center for PTSD, it will continue to receive the PTSD Research Quarterly free of charge.
